CHILD PLACING AGENCY

Transformational Ministries Child Placement Agency provides comprehensive placement services for children and youth, from infancy through extended foster care. We utilize therapeutic techniques and individualized support plans to empower caregivers, enabling them to effectively address the unique needs of the children and youth in their care. These supports are provided within the least restrictive environment possible, fostering placement stabilization and minimizing trauma that is often associated with multiple placement changes.

We are committed to assisting caregivers in their efforts to engage the children and youth placed with them in reunification services. Furthermore, we will support caregivers in ensuring that youth remain connected with their essential supports identified as meaningful and important by the child, youth, and their family.

Caregiver Support Program

Transformational Caregiver Support program primary objective is to holistically increase stabilization across multiple domains for caregivers and the youth and families they support, encompassing emotional, physical, educational, and mental well-being. We believe that by providing comprehensive support in these areas, we will significantly enhance the likelihood of youth and families achieving and maintaining permanent placement.

Transformational Ministries utilize a Trauma-informed approach, which enables us to accurately identify and address the specific needs of each supportive caregiver, child, and youth. This includes developing tailored services and offering concrete support. Furthermore, we aim to cultivate a robust and supportive community that can effectively assist youth in navigating their life situations, both past and present, to deliver impactful services with a strong healing orientation.

Caregiver Support Goals

Create goals with the caregiver to promote the support of the court-ordered plan and required timelines.
Increase access for caregiver support and align support to the diverse needs of children and youth in out-of-home placement.
Increase family-based care by using a Trauma-Informed/Wraparound Approach

Increase connections with community members and resources. This includes resources for kinship caregivers, as all licensed and unlicensed caregivers will have access to standard supports
